The Years Pass Us By

The years just seem
To pass us by
Like clouds on the move
In a stormy sky

I look up and wonder
As the rain comes down
How you would look
Were you around

I wonder how you are
And how your days have gone
And as I go about my day
These thoughts linger on

Ah, a break in the clouds
Now the sun shines through
I really hope my dear
It is shining on you
