I do not think
I've ever seen
Eyes as bright
As yours
Reflections dance
Against the sheen
Like waves
Against the shore
My shadow gains
Its own volition
Entranced
With lucent appeal
And seeks to find
Its own condition
And basis
In which to feel

My dreams do not reveal
How I feel
But I express them
Just the same
When I awake
From that state
I find I'm dwelling
On your name
Thinking of your caress
I confess
Do you see the smile
On my face?
Time goes by
How it flies
And I would like to
Slow its pace
