I am Your son forsaken
Standing beneath the sky
Forgotten like withering flowers
Left alone to die
My dreams know not the sun
Darkness embeds them well
The shadows cover my soul
And keep me within this shell
I reach out but am ignored
None have the heart to see
Tired am I of trying
My patience is leaving me
So am I to be forgotten
As fleeting as the wind
They know of its caress
But do not remember when

Your kisses
As I imagine
Are honey
Caramel bliss
I long
With anticipation
As I envision
And increasingly miss
So beautiful
As they pucker
Both exquisite
And divine
I can't wait
For them to fasten
And secure themselves
To mine
