About Mac
Jim M. McClellan
(Jimmy Mac)
Age: 39
Birthdate: July 13th, 1970 - Cancer
Words began as a collection of thoughts and feelings expressed and written on bits of paper, napkins and in notebooks, at home, on the bus, at work and wherever the thoughts and feelings hit me.
After twelve years of expression it was time to let the world know how I felt. The world has responded well and in earnest. It too has felt this way. My thoughts and feelings are inherently complex but written in the simplest of forms. One could be duped into taking them at face value. I am compelled to tell you such is the way of folly.
What I portray with commonly used words ebb from the deepest of feelings and in most cases will require thoughtful reflection.
So read, ponder, and enjoy my Words of Poetic Verse.
It is indeed my pleasure to share them with you.

Unless, of course, you like fruitcake.

Distant stars
May have a clue
But here on Earth I have none
I used to be
A happy child
Playing everyday in the sun
I used to have
Hopes and dreams
An outlook as bright as day
Times were not great
But I knew
Everything would be okay
So what has changed
Now as a man
My heart has held so much pain
Day after day
I sift through the rubble
Trying to ascertain
But it's unclear
Why I am here
Revolving around as I do
A new day has dawned
But the question remains
Will I make it through
